Machine-to-machine (or M2M) is increasingly being used in a variety of different sectors as a means of optimising and accelerating processes. These days, M2M is indispensible in situations where decentralised information needs to be processed centrally or where vehicles, vending machines, or monitoring/measuring machines situated at some distance from each other need to be controlled from a central location.
