  • Where can I find my login and password?
    This login information was sent to you by email when you registered. If you can't find this email, you can always request your login and password by clicking 'forgot your login or password?' on the Orange CineHome website
    www.orange.ch/cinehome under 'Login'. You will be sent this information again by email.

  • I cannot connect to the CineHome service. What should I do?
    Firstly, please check that your Orange CineHome Box and TV are connected correctly.
    Ensure that:

    1) the cables between the Orange CineHome Box and your TV are pushed in all the way.
    2) the power cables of the Orange CineHome Box and your TV are securely connected to a working power source.
    3) your TV is turned on and set to the correct input.
    4) the Orange CineHome Box is connected to your network.
    5) your network and Internet connections are on and working properly.

    If you still have trouble, try resetting your equipment by disconnecting the Orange CineHome Box, your TV, your networking equipment, and your router from the power outlet. Wait 30 seconds, and then reconnect everything.

    Important:
    Connect the Orange CineHome Box to your modem/router before connecting the power supply.
    If your CineHome Box is correctly connected to your TV and to the Internet, check that your Internet access is switched on.
    Then check that your login and password are correct.

  • A CineHome Box update is in progress but stops after a few seconds and an error message appears on the screen. What do I need to do?
    - Unplug the power cable and wait 10 seconds before plugging it back in again. The Box will automatically restart and the update should take place normally.
    - If the update still does not work properly, press the 'menu' key on your remote control. On the next screen, please select 'settings', then 'network', followed by 'DHCP' and finally 'Yes'. After the confirmation message, press the 'back' key twice on your remote control and select 'IPTV'. The update should take place normally.

  • I can't enter my login and password on the screen.
    Select the relevant field and press the 'enter' key on your remote control. A virtual keyboard will appear on the screen so you can enter the login information that you received by email.

  • What is the difference between the VOD, My Channels, and DVD/Blu-ray menus?
    VOD stands for Video On Demand and includes content that can be watched instantly on your TV. Each movie and TV series has its own cost depending on the quality (SD/HD) or the release date. DVD/Blu-ray content are movies and TV series available for rental on physical disk and if ordered/selected before 19:00 each weeknight, will arrive to your shipping address the next day. 'My portals VOD' content is available for no additional purchase (over and above the base subscription charge). This 'My portals VOD' content is refreshed with new content on a regular basis.
