what to bring with you
To sign-up to a subscription, you'll need to bring the following documents with you:
- ID card or passport
- Swiss work permit or letter of confirmation of permit
- Credit card and bank account details
You may be asked to set-up your payments by direct debit. Payment with a credit card will be required for the first two months of your subscription until the direct debit from your bank account (LSV) has been approved by your bank. The direct debit from your bank account will then replace the direct debit from your credit card.

i am already with another swiss operator but I would like to join Orange, can I keep my mobile number?
Yes. You can join Orange and keep your swiss mobile number. This can take up to 4 weeks. If you have a pay-monthly contract, simply inform us that you want to use an already existing number and we will do the rest. If you use PrePay, you'll also need to inform your current operator.
i would like to join but already have a mobile, can I keep it?
Switzerland operates on a GSM network. If you come from Europe or many other countries, your current phone will probably work in Switzerland and you can decide to only get a new SIM card with your subscription or your PrePay offer. If you are coming from North America or some areas of Asia, you might need to change your phone and buy a new one locally.
If you keep your mobile phone, Orange offers you a discount of CHF 10.– on your monthly fee. Simply subscribe online without selecting a handset or go to one of our Orange Centers.
